In The Press

“When your work is rooted in purpose, it will open the door to better care for many.”

—Amber Simpson

Over the years, my work in mental health, wellness, and healthcare leadership has been featured across articles, interviews, and conferences. Whether I’m advocating for social justice in healthcare, building programs that promote health equity, reimagining the role of social workers in leadership or helping clients reclaim sleep and peace of mind. These features reflect the heart of what I do: showing up with purpose and helping others do the same.

Hi, I’m Amber

I’m a therapist, consultant, and healthcare leader with over 20 years of experience in the field and a deep commitment to helping people feel seen, heard, and truly cared for.

My work lives at the intersection of mental health, wellness, social justice, and health equity. I’ve built programs from the ground up, developed national trainings, and led efforts to bring whole-person care into both traditional and innovative spaces like inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, sleep medicine, and wound care.

I believe that system change starts with intention, and that stories, whether told through the media or lived in quiet moments with clients, have the power to shape more compassionate care.

Amber Simpson, MBA-HCAD, MSW, LCSW-S

I’ve had the honor of being featured in a number of publications, media features, and professional events. Each one a chance to speak to the power of compassionate care, integrative wellness, and what it means to show up with purpose in our work. Here is a selection of features, articles, and contributions.
