FOR CLINICIANS: CBT-I CONSULTATION AND PRACTICE GROWTH
Elevate Your CBT-I Practice
Your clients aren’t sleeping and you’re not sure what to do about it.
Sleep comes up with almost every client. Anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, and the list goes on, somewhere in there, they are also awake at 2am.
You know CBT-I is the first-line treatment. But what does that actually look like week to week? How many sessions? What happens in session one versus session four? How do you set a sleep window and why does it work? What’s actually going on with sleep in the first place?
So you do what most of us were taught to do. You refer out!
There aren’t many therapists out there who are trained in CBT-I and really know it. Your client ends up on a waitlist, or with someone who hands them a sleep hygiene sheet and calls it a day.
Your client doesn’t need another referral. They need you to know this, and you can.
The Sleep Collective gives you the structure, the sleep science, the how to, the consultation, and the backup to treat insomnia yourself.
Reinventing the consultation space and promoting accessibility.
Getting good CBT-I support has always been hard. There are only a handful of clinicians who really know this work, and consulting with them usually runs $200-400 an hour. General consultation groups mean well, but they don’t know what to do with a sleep window or a client who’s been awake since 3am. So most therapists either pay a lot for a few hours of help or figure it out alone.
That model keeps CBT-I small. When learning it is expensive and isolating, fewer therapists offer it, and more clients end up on waitlists or with a sleep hygiene handout.
I’ve built and refined my own CBT-I program since 2021, and for years, I shared that process through 1:1 consulting. It worked but only a few therapists could afford it and everything I taught stayed inside a Zoom call.
The Sleep Collective changes that. It’s the same structure, sleep science, case support, shared in one community for $29/month. You get more access to answers and more colleagues to think with, so more clients get real insomnia treatment.
Here’s what’s inside…
Discussion Board
Ask questions, talk through de-identified cases, and learn from colleagues doing the same work. It’s like a Facebook group, minus the algorithm and the randomness.
Resource Vault
Validated questionnaires with scoring (ISI, PSQI, ESS, FSS, STOP), intake, a session-by-session 5-session program, and clinician tools like the sleep prescription calculator, titration log, treatment plan and progress note templates, and an adherence troubleshooting guide. Client handouts are organized by topic.
Live Calls
Bring your stuck cases, pricing questions, or referral plans. Every call is recorded and added to the vault, so you never miss one.
Clinical Guide
The sleep science behind the protocol: the two-process model, circadian rhythms, Spielman’s 3P model, and hyperarousal, with full references so you can go deeper.
Referral & Practice Development
Building physician referrals, your online presence, business setup, private pay and superbills, pricing, and the tech stack that runs it all.
Member Referral Directory
A shared directory and map of CBT-I members by state, so you can refer to each other when a client lives outside your license.
WHY I BUILT THESE
Built by a clinician who couldn’t find it either.
I’m Amber, an LCSW-S and CBT-I specialist who spent way too many sessions building and rebuilding my program. I learned from client needs, referring physicians, and plenty of trial and error. Everything inside The Sleep Collective comes from that process. It’s clinically grounded, immediately usable, and designed for how real sessions actually work.

GOOD QUESTIONS
Everything You’re Wondering
-
Nope. The Sleep Collective is for therapists who are trained in CBT-I or working toward it. If you’re newer, the Clinical Guide and vault help you build your foundation. If you’ve been at it for years, you’ll find people to talk shop with.
-
Licensed therapists, plus associate and provisionally licensed therapists. This is a professional space for clinicians, not a place for people looking for sleep treatment. Membership is by request, with a few short questions to confirm fit.
-
$29/month, month-to-month. Stay for one month to work through a specific question or stick around for the long haul. You can cancel anytime.
-
Yes, as long as they’re de-identified. Skool is not a HIPAA-compliant platform, so no names, identifying details, or protected health information. Present the clinical picture, not the person.
-
No. The Sleep Collective is peer consultation and education. It does not replace clinical supervision required for licensure, and it is not psychotherapy.
-
Not as a standing service. The Sleep Collective is where that support lives now. If you have a need the community can’t meet, email me and we’ll talk.
-
Not nationally, but yes for Texas social workers.
The Sleep Collective isn’t an accredited CE provider through ASWB, NBCC, or similar national bodies, so most members can’t count it toward license renewal.
Texas works differently. The state doesn’t pre-approve CE providers. Instead, Texas social workers must earn at least half of their CE hours from specific provider types, and Council-approved supervisors are one of them. As an LCSW-S, I’m a Council-approved supervisor, so designated trainings inside The Sleep Collective can count toward your Texas social work CE hours. You’ll receive a certificate for each one with your name, the topic, the date, and the hours earned. See Texas Administrative Code §781.501.
If you’re licensed outside Texas, or in a different profession such as LPC or LMFT, check with your board before claiming hours.
