PROGRAM DESIGN, IMPLEMENTATION AND CASE CONSULTATION FOR THERAPISTS
CBTI Practice Consulting
If you’re trained in CBTI or want to learn CBTI, and ready to integrate it intentionally into your practice, I help you build the clinical structure behind it.
This includes program design, materials, outcome tracking, referral development and case consultation support.
CBTI doesn’t fail in theory. It fails in structure.
You know the model. You understand stimulus control and sleep hygiene. You’ve reviewed the research.
But implementation is different than training.
Sessions feel inconsistent. Materials are scattered across folders. You explain CBTI slightly different every time. Your website description is either too technical or too vague. Referrals aren’t coming in steadily. You’re delivering solid treatment, but there’s no infrastructure around it, no standardized packet, no defined session progression, no outcome tracking, no clear positioning.
That’s common. And fixable. Specialties become strong when they are designed, not improvised.
I built my CBTI program intentionally starting in 2021, mapping session objectives, developing structured psychoeducation materials, integrating ISI and PSQI tracking, and aligning referral language around a focused sleep practice. I’ve pivoted along the way learning from the patients and referring physician feedback.
I now help other therapists build that same internal structure so their specialty feels deliberate rather than pieced together.
Areas we may focus on…
Positioning & Scope
Clarifying who you serve and how you articulate CBTI within your clinical practice. This may include private practice setup questions as needed.

Mapping a 6-8 session model with defined objectives, sequencing and progression.
Materials
Developing psychoeducation packets, sleep logs, worksheets, and structured resources you can reuse consistently across clients.
Metrics
Integrating tools such as ISI or PSQI to measure progress and strengthen clinical credibility.
Referral Development
Building relationships with physicians and providers who refer sleep-related cases.
Case Consultation
Supporting complex cases, troubleshooting non-adherence, anxiety, comorbidities and refining treatment decisions.
Hi, I’m Amber - Licensed Clinical Social Worker, MBA and sleep therapist with 20+ years in healthcare, including clinical program development and systems design.
When I built my CBTI program, I approached it the same way I approach any clinical initiatives: define the framework, develop the materials, measure outcomes and refine delivery. That process changed how my practice functions. Instead of loosely offering sleep treatment, I operate from a defined, repeatable model.
Consulting is how I share that process with therapists who want their sleep specialty to feel equally intentional. I’m direct, I’m practical, and fun. If you’re ready to build something solid, let’s get to work.

FAQ
-
I approach CBTI consulting the way I approach sleep therapy: structured, measured and intentional.
This is not general business coaching. We focus on how CBTI functions inside your clinical practice: session flow, materials, outcome tracking, referral development, and clinical decision-making.
My background in both clinical social work and healthcare administration allows us to evaluate your specialty from two angles: clinical integrity and operational structure.

Come prepared with clarity about where you feel confusion or frustration.
Are sessions inconsistent?
Are materials scattered?
Are you unsure what to do about a case?
Are you needing to know how to get consistent referrals?
The more specific you are, the more productive or time will be. Bring what you’re currently using. We’ll start where you are and go from there.

Yes! For therapists already providing CBTI, I offer individual case consultation focused on refining treatment planning, trouble shooting challenges (e.g., non-adherence, high anxiety, comorbid conditions) and strengthening confidence in clinical decision-making.
Case consultation is separate from program development and focuses on specifically on clinical-decision making within active cases.
